Following the success of its critically acclaimed Sydney and Perth productions of The Wind in the Underground, and YEN at KXT, New Ghosts Theatre Company presents the WA premiere of Katy Warner’s Paper Doll at The Blue Room Theatre, from the 12th – 16th February, as part of Fringe World Festival and Summer Nights.
A man stands at a woman’s front door, soaking wet and unexpected. She isn’t surprised. He is older. She has grown-up, but he is not ready to admit that she’s no longer the girl, the princess, he left behind. He needs somewhere to stay and she is all he’s got.
Written by multi-award winning playwright Katy Warner, in response to Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge, and featuring Hayley Pearl (YEN KXT, Abducting Diana New Theatre, King Lear Seymour Centre, All Saints and Cops LAC) and Martin Jones (Paper Doll Old Fitz, Hamlet Laycock Street Theatre & All Saints), Paper Doll is gripping, unmissable theatre that will leave audiences breathless.
Playing at The Blue Room Theatre from 12th – 16th February as part of Fringe World Festival and Summer Nights, don’t miss this new Australian work, by the theatre company that continues to set a new benchmark for creative and bold
independent theatre.
